The Princess of Wales’s former personal assistant has revealed her next project after 15 years working for the royal household.
Natasha Archer, 37, left her role in July, with reports suggesting she would launch a career in consultancy. In an Instagram post last night, she confirmed she will be starting her own company, offering bespoke advice across wardrobe and creative direction.
“I’m Natasha – Founder & Creative Director,” she wrote, accompanied by a professional black-and-white photograph.
Referring to her previous role at the palace, Natasha added: “After almost two decades working within private households, I’m delighted to begin this new chapter, offering discreet, bespoke advisory services for those seeking considered guidance across wardrobe, personal presentation, creative direction, and the finer details that shape important moments.”
Shortly afterwards, she posted a mission statement, reinforcing her aim as creative director to help individuals and families “with confidence and complete assurance”.
Casual Kate – her best informal looks
Earlier this week, she teased the upcoming project with a mysterious message reading: “Coming soon. 02. 04. 26.” With its sleek and shiny appearance, the new branding is somewhat reminiscent of Meghan Markle’s lifestyle page, As Ever.
Natasha’s royal career
Natasha began working for the royal family in 2010 as a personal assistant to Prince William and Prince Harry, eventually working her way up to Kate’s most trusted assistant. Previously, she had spent three years working for the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
In 2019, Natasha was awarded the Royal Victorian Order for her services to the royal family by Prince William at Buckingham Palace. As the Princess’s personal stylist, Natasha was the hidden mastermind behind many of her most beloved looks.
Over the years, she was pictured carrying the Princess’s luggage and clothes off planes for her various travels around the globe, and was in charge of diaries and travel plans.
HELLO! understands the Prince and Princess of Wales’ household wished Natasha the very best for the exciting opportunities ahead when she handed in her notice.
William and Kate’s new hires
Since news of Natasha’s departure was announced last July, Kensington Palace has not publicly announced a successor for the position. However, they have made a series of new hires in other areas in recent months.

In February, the Palace hired a new Digital Content Creator position to bring William and Kate’s work to new audiences, particularly paying attention to “younger audiences through the use of organic content”.
Otherwise, Rosie Trainor joined the team as a Senior Communications Officer and Sarah Henwood took over as the new CEO of the Royal Foundation in February.
Other loyal staff members in Waleses’ employment include their full-time nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, who was this week awarded a Royal Victorian Medal (Silver) by Prince William during an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle for her services to the couple.
