Zendaya says she’s taking a break after all of her upcoming 2026 releases, and we don’t blame her.
“I just hope people don’t get sick of me,” Zendaya said in a new episode of Fandango’s Big Ticket Podcast. I really appreciate anyone who supports any of the movies or supports my career in any kind of way, I’m deeply appreciative. I just hope you guys don’t get sick of me this year because I’ll tell you what, after this, I’m disappearing for a little bit. I’m going to have to go into hiding for just a little bit.”
Zendaya has five big releases this year: The Drama on April 3, Euphoria Season 3 on April 12, The Odyssey on July 17, Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, and Dune: Part Three on December 18. She has a starring role in each of these major releases, right down to playing Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, in The Odyssey (which I think is so very cool, and yes, I will be seated).

The only project Zendaya has up next (that’s been made public, anyway) is Shrek 5, where she voices Shrek’s daughter Felicia. It’s possible that, after Brand New Day and The Odyssey, Tom Holland will also take a break so they can both enjoy their married-but-maybe-not-actually-married-because-those-wedding-photos-were-AI life.
