After literal years of trying to get him out, ex-Prince Andrew was kicked out of the Royal Lodge, and thus the entire York family was evicted with him. Many wondered how their daughters, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, would take the news, and inside sources claim they had a rather surprising reaction to losing the Royal Lodge.

In case you missed it, sources revealed how the Princesses handled the news of losing the gargantuan home to OK! Magazine.

“At first glance, missing out on an estate of that size and value could easily be seen as a significant loss, but behind closed doors, there is actually a quiet sense of relief,” the inside source said to the outlet. “Royal Lodge is not just a prestigious property – it comes with substantial upkeep costs, ongoing maintenance issues and a level of responsibility that would have been incredibly demanding. In many ways, not having to take that on has removed a considerable burden from their lives.”

They added, “There is also a clear awareness that being closely associated with such a prominent royal residence, particularly at a time when their father is under intense public scrutiny, would have brought with it an added layer of pressure and attention for Beatrice and Eugenie. By being forced to step away from that situation, they have effectively avoided becoming further entangled in something that could have complicated both their public image and their personal circumstances.”

The sources ended by saying, “Given the current circumstances, any close association with such a high-profile estate would likely have intensified public attention at a time when they are actively trying to step back and maintain a lower profile, making the prospect even more challenging.”

So it seems the two are more than happy to separate themselves even more from their parents after their ties to the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein came to light.
