Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will not attend the Easter church service with King Charles and the rest of the royal family over their ongoing association with Jeffrey Epstein, courtesy of their parents.
The monarch is understood to have made the decision in consultation with the York sisters, who now have alternate arrangements.
They will miss the traditional gathering at Windsor Castle on Sunday, expected to be attended by the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children who celebrated the occasion in Norfolk last year.

It comes more than a month after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office and the fallout of his friendship with the convicted paedophile.
Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35, have faced scrutiny themselves after their names appeared in the Epstein files recently released by the US Department of Justice.
According to the documents, their mother Sarah Ferguson took Beatrice and Eugenie to visit Epstein in the US five days after he was released from prison for child sex crimes.
They were 19 and 20 at the time.

Epstein was under house arrest after serving 12 months in a Florida jail for soliciting a minor for prostitution.
The files also show the former Duke of York sent photos of his daughters to Epstein in 2010 and 2011.
In an email dated March, 2010, Ferguson told Epstein that she was “waiting for Eugenie to come back from a shagging weekend”.
Another revealed that she had called Epstein her “supreme friend” and begged him for money.

Beatrice and Eugenie have kept their distance from their parents and have not seen their father since his arrest on February 19, his 66th birthday.
They are said to have been left distraught by claims made against their parents.
The inclusion of Beatrice and Eugenie in the cache of documents have prompted suggestions they would be excluded from gatherings with the royal family.
However, according to UK media, they are expected to be included at other celebrations in the future.
Earlier this year, there were reports Beatrice and Eugenie would be banned from Royal Ascot – an event at which the sisters have long been a regular fixture.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were last seen with the King and the royal family on Christmas Day when they were invited to Sandringham.
The sisters have kept their princess titles and HRH styling after their father was stripped by the monarch of both his right to be a prince and his dukedom late last year.
He is now living in a small property on the King’s private Sandringham Estate in Norfolk after being evicted from Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Last week, Ferguson lost her Freedom of the City of York title after councillors voted unanimously to remove the honour.
In early March, Princess Eugenie stepped down as patron of charity Anti-Slavery International in March, a role she held for seven years.
Andrew and Ferguson last attended Easter with King Charles and the royal family in April, 2025. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, and their husbands, were also included.
But Prince William and Catherine, and their children, spent Easter at their country retreat Anmer Hall.
The Wales family are expected to be at the Easter service on Sunday.
