ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for Up the Catalogue, the upcoming dystopian thriller film from Freestyle Digital Media. The video offers a closer look at the ensemble cast, including Bridgerton and Wicked star Jonathan Bailey.

“Set in a mysterious shopping channel called 4QTV, the film follows star presenter Hailey Cartin as she grapples with selling a seemingly endless loop of questionable products on live television. Determined to be an exemplar of her industry, Hailey is at the mercy of her boss, Daniel Fortescue, who revels in gaslighting her toward the outer limits of endurance and sanity,” reads the official synopsis. “When a glamorous product demonstrator called Jamima Hoare arrives to challenge the foundations of Hailey’s professionalism, our unfortunate heroine is forced to confront the ultimate question: can we ever truly break free from the absurdity of capitalism? Maybe. But then again, maybe not.”

When is the release date for Up the Catalogue?

Up the Catalogue will be available to rent or own on North American digital HD internet, cable, DVD, and satellite platforms starting on April 14, 2026. The movie stars Bailey as Jeremy, Lyndsey Marshal as Hailey Cartin, John Macmillan as Daniel Fortescue, Morgana Robinson as Jamima Hoare, Sam Spruell as Jim Kelly, Shiloh Coke as Dr. Culpepper, Anastasia Hille as Maureen the Owl, Anthony O’Donnell as Derek, Ciara Baxendale as Leslie, LJ Bennion as Oscar, Daniel Norford as Steve, and Zheng Xi Yong as Carlos.

The movie is written and directed by Alastair Siddons, who is also producing alongside Russell Curtis. It is executive-produced by Michael Elliott and Sol Guy. The creative team consists of cinematographer Hamish Anderson, composer Robert Logan, and production designer Lucie Red, along with editors Paul Carlin and Elisa Cepedal.

“Up the Catalogue was born in the claustrophobic madness of a global lockdown, and was inspired by the strange, performative nature of shopping television, where relentless enthusiasm is always the name of the game,” Siddons said in a statement. “Through 4QTV’s best-selling products, Permanent Bread and Hole Aid, we wanted to push this world to its most absurd extreme, exploring what happens when the veneer starts to crack, and the reality of being trapped in a crooked system becomes impossible to ignore.”
