Royal Family confirms second wedding after Peter Phillips announcement

In addition to Peter Phillips wedding, another part of the Royal Family is preparing for a marriage.

On Thursday, April 2, Express UK reported that just hours after the nuptials of Princess Anne’s son Peter and his fiancée Harriet Sperling were announced, a second royal wedding was confirmed.

As per the report, Lady Marina Windsor is set to exchange vows with her fiancé, Nico Macauley, on June 20, 2026, just two weeks after Peter Phillips’ wedding on June 6.

Lady Marina is a member of the extended British Royal Family as the granddaughter of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent – who is a first cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Born on September 30, 1992, Marina is a British philanthropic executive, who was removed from the line of succession to the British throne in 2008 after being confirmed into the Roman Catholic Church.

The distant royal got engaged to Nico Macauley – an account executive with Zscaler – in June 2025.

This update comes after royal correspondent Rebecca English on Wednesday, April 1, shared Buckingham Palace’s official notification announcing the details of Peter’s nuptial – who is set to exchange the wedding vows with Harriet this June.

“Mr Peter Phillips, the son of HRH The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips and Ms Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr Rupert Sanders and Mrs Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, have today announced their wedding date,” read the statement.

It added, “The summer wedding will take place at All Saints Church, Kemble, Cirencester, on Saturday 6th June 2026 in a private ceremony.”

Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling announced their engagement in August 2025.
