Shrek Films on Disney+Although DreamWorks Animation is owned by NBCUniversal, fans can now stream all four of DreamWorks' Shrek films with Hulu on Disney+.

Shrek (2001), Shrek 2 (2004), Shrek the Third (2007), and Shrek Forever After (2010) are all on Disney+ in the U.S.

We don’t know the details of the licensing agreement but the Shrek films likely won’t be available on Disney+ permanently.

Shrek films are also available to stream on Peacock. The spin-off Puss in Boots (2011) is only streaming on HBO Max. All are available to rent or buy on Amazon and Apple TV, as is Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022).

The expanded streaming availability comes a year before Shrek 5, set for a theatrical release on June 30, 2027. Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz return as Shrek, Donkey, and Fiona respectively. Zendaya, Marcello Hernández, and Skyler Gisondo voice Shrek and Fiona’s kids Felicia, Fergus, and Farkle.

Shrek 5 is directed by Walt Dohrn and Conrad Vernon, and co-directed by Brad Ableson, from a screenplay by Michael McCullers. Gina Shay and Chris Meledandri produce.
