This Music May Contain Hope fuses old-school jazz with an orchestra, blues, big band and soul, reflecting what Raye told the BBC last year.
“There’s a thing I miss in in pop music today, which is that kind of Motown feeling, that classic feeling, that analogue feeling,” she said.
“So I was really excited to really, really experiment with that quite vividly.”
Her previous album, 2023’s My 21st Century Blues, debuted at number two in the charts.
She achieved seven Brit nominations in 2024, which is a record for the most in a single year. She went on to win six of them – also a record.
