Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not been invited to Met Gala 2026 and the insiders have revealed the real reason of the snub to the royal couple.
The Met Gala will be held on May 4 and is being co-chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Vogue’s global editorial director, Anna Wintour.
According to a report by the FirstPost, one of the reasons the royal couple have been snubbed is that of Meghan’s fractured relationship with Anna Wintour.
The insider has claimed that Anna Wintour thinks Meghan and Prince Harry ‘make everything about themselves.’
Wintour has been unimpressed with Meghan — especially after she and Harry fled the royal family.
Moreover, Wintour is also close friend of King Charles, never gave Meghan an American Vogue cover — or previously invited her to the Gala.
Wintour is said to be closer to Harry’s family.
And some also believe that Meghan’s so-called friendship with Beyonce is nothing but one-sided.
A fan says on social media, “Meghan is friends with Beyoncé but Beyoncé is not friends with Meghan, that’s how I see it. My question is, will she EVER get invited?”
