The Royal Family attended their annual Easter Sunday church service in Windsor this morning – and Prince William was spotted whispering to his children as they walked through the adoring crowds

The Royal Family appeared united as they approached St George’s chapel for their Easter Sunday service – despite noticeable absences from certain family members.
It’s the first time the pruned Royal family came together in such a large gathering since the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and they put on a strong front.
Prince William led his family, Princess Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to the chapel, behind King Charles and Queen Camilla.
According to lip reading expert Jeremy Freeman, William whispered to his two youngest: “You look waaaaay happy,” giving them some words of encouragement while they waved to the crowds. Meanwhile Kate was said to have said “Hi!” to the adoring fans who had gathered outside.

However, body language expert Judi James noted how William looked “anxious” as he walked with his family, and said: “It was only William showing a subtle tell of any anxiety with a gesture he shares ironically with his brother when they are under scrutiny or pressure which is the hand placed over the stomach in a self-sooth barrier ritual.
“With George now grown up enough to walk with his mother holding a very grown-up-looking conversation, William walked with his younger son Louis, who marched along wearing a very serious and determined expression.”
A few moments later, as the family made their way into the church, Louis shared an adorable moment with grandpa King Charles. As the King made his way into the church, he turned to his grandchildren Charlotte and Louis, and appeared to give Louis a playful tap on his shoulder. The charming moment was spotted by body language expert Judi James, who told the Mirror: “It is a very unusual reward ritual from Charles, showing his softer side as a doting grandad.
“There is a very sweet moment when Charles is walking past William’s children and he spontaneously, fondly and unusually, stretches one hand out to pat one of them.”
As the world watched, it was notable that Andrew was not included in the Easter plans. Neither were his daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie who also skipped this morning’s service with the agreement of their uncle the King that they make alternative plans.
Last year both Andrew and Fergie joined the Easter service at Windsor, but neither attended this year due to their banishment from the Royal Family. The former Duke of York is expected to spent the day on the Sandringham estate, where he now lives and was seen walking his dogs yesterday. It is unclear how Fergie, who has not been seen in public since December, will be marking the occasion.
