Cruz Beckham hit back at critics of his age gap relationship – by having a pop at mum Victoria.
The Beckham’s youngest and Jackie Apostel have been an item for approaching two years with the musician, 21, and his 30-year-old girlfriend having to defend themselves with almost a decade between them. He responded to another snide remark on his post in the best way possible – although his mum may not agree.
They first stepped out together at Glastonbury in 2024 following the break down of Cruz’s relationship with Norwegian music artist Viktoria Reitan. Cruz and singer Jackie have continued to brush off any doubts and didn’t miss the chance to show people he’s not bothered by the comments this weekend.
Cruz’s latest TikTok video saw him hard at work cooking as he whipped up a treat Jackie. Writing in the caption, he said: “She wants crepe, she got em.” Making reference to the pair’s age-gap, someone then told him: “I love when a son cooks for his mum”.

It didn’t take long for him to clap back, and he had a cheeky jab at his mum’s famous lack of appetite. He brilliantly blasted back: “U think VB is eating a Nutella crepe, no chance daley’.”
While football legend David loves his food, wife Victoria has a much simpler palate and is content with eating the same food every day. He says she is very set in her eating habits and will ‘rarely deviate’ from it.
“I get quite emotional about food and wine – when I’m eating something great I want everyone to try it,” the dad-of-four explained on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast. “Unfortunately I’m married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years. Since I met her she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables. She will very rarely deviate from that.”
Sadly, Victoria spoke about having disordered eating habits in her Netflix documentary. She also insisted previously that she was “flexible” with her food and that she enjoyed getting to eat out. She said: “I’m flexible with regards to food, as David and I are very sociable, and we like to eat out.

“I eat lots of fresh fish, fresh vegetables and salads, as well as seeds and nuts. I also love fruit but don’t eat too much, as it can make me feel quite bloated. I am disciplined with my eating – that’s how I find I get the most out of my body.
“My treat is a few glasses of red wine, and I also love tequila, and I do eat carbs. I have lots of avocados and really good fats, like salmon. With four children and a job, I work long hours and doing this works for me so I can give 100 per cent.”
When reports of Jackie and Cruz’s age gap first emerged, a source told OK! : “Although Victoria is pleased that Cruz seems happy in his relationship, she does have some concerns about the age gap and whether her youngest son is ready for that kind of commitment.
“She really likes Jackie, and Jackie seems to get on with all the family but Victoria would be lying if she said that her being 10 years older than Cruz isn’t a worry. Cruz is still a teenager whereas Jackie is a fully grown woman who is at a different stage in her life and may want things that Cruz is not quite ready for.”
