Eight years on from winning Love Island, Jack Fincham has found himself homeless (Picture: ITV/Instagram)

Jack Fincham found fame after winning Love Island in 2018 – but his life has now taken a very different turn.

The reality TV star, 34, split a £50,000 prize with Dani Dyer after triumphing in the ITV dating show’s fourth series.

Alas, their summer romance wasn’t to last, as they split after just six months, despite swiftly moving in together and getting a puppy, not to mention the opportunity of having Danny Dyer as a father-in-law.

Fast forward six years, and Jack has admitted that things couldn’t be ‘any worse’ for him, having ended up homeless.

The influencer entered rehab for the second time earlier this year after relapsing with drugs and alcohol. He had just £20 to his name, blowing millions – such as the money he made from his roles in the likes of The Last Heist – on his addictions.

He received two months of £32,000 treatment at Rainford Hall, Merseyside, after care provider Steps Together saw an interview and offered to help. He told Good Morning Britain this month that he ‘did a detox of benzodiazepines and pregabalin, prescription drugs’, for six weeks, but he ‘knew’ it needed to be done.

However, while Jack has taken responsibility for his actions, he has felt unsupported by his family following his discharge.

Taking to Instagram this weekend, Jack candidly spoke about his attempt to live in Liverpool, but it ‘didn’t work out’ with his flatmate.

‘I thought I’d be getting more support from people close to me that haven’t shown that support,’ he said in a video shared with his followers.

‘Listen, I’m a 34-year-old man, you can’t rely on your family all the time.’

He continued: ‘One thing they told me in rehab, and it’s true, you’re not gonna walk out of rehab to a red carpet rolled out for you because it’s stuff you should have been doing anyway.’

On his current arrangements, he stated that he doesn’t have ‘much left’, staying in a hotel with his dog while trying to figure out ‘what to do’.

‘I’m just gonna reset and work out what to do and where I wanna live,’ he said.

Praising his four-legged friend, he then declared: ‘Got my beautiful dog, Elvis. Without him, I probably wouldn’t even be here, to be honest.’

He went on to express his gratitude for the staff who managed his treatment, saying he ‘wasn’t used to’ the level of ‘kindness’ they showed.

‘I found it quite alien.’

While he found the process ‘scary’, Jack, who first entered rehab in 2021 before his Christmas 2025 relapse, is now looking forward.

‘There’s been a few struggles along the way, and look, I’m starting again from zero,’ he acknowledged. ‘I’m a very optimistic person, and I just think it can’t get any worse than this.

‘I’m gonna do my acting and get back into TV work; I’m gonna do all the things I said I was gonna do.’

In recent years, Jack has been an open book when discussing his addiction struggles, revealing how he had ‘kissed a woman and [didn’t] even remember doing it’, leaving him feeling ’embarrassed, mortified, and like an idiot’.

‘I am a 33-year-old man. I should be settled down, married. Instead, I need help,’ he said frankly in January, adding that he wanted to recover so he’d be able to ‘say no to future temptations’.

Other mental health battles he’s opened up about since his stint in the Love Island villa include a past battle with an eating disorder.

Jack developed bulimia (which involves binge eating over short periods before ridding your body of the food via purging) as a teenager due to the pressures of losing weight as a boxer.

He told The Sun that, after ‘being bulimic for 19 years’, he is ‘in agony without daily medication’.

‘I could be on them forever; I don’t know.’
