Contagion 2
In conversation with The Playlist, Steven Soderbergh suggested he no longer wants to make his planned sequel to Contagion.
Scott [Z. Burns] and I kind of kicked some ideas around. [But] it would be tough to go back to that idea for me because that was a really unique circumstance. David Lean talked about not popping out of the same hole twice. I know I’m saying that as somebody who’s been involved with multiple Oceans movies and multiple Magic Mike movies, but I don’t know how to mitigate that feeling of, like, we’ve done it before.
The Adventures of Tintin 2
According to Andy Serkis in a new interview with Collider, Peter Jackson still “really, really wants to make” a sequel to The Adventures of Tintin after a twelve-year hiatus from filmmaking.
I loved the process of making that film with such great filmmakers. I think Peter really, really wants to make it, so hopefully down the line.

While the project was originally announced in 2024 with Peter Ocko and James Wan at the helm, it’s currently unknown if the same creative team is still attached.
Marvel Zombies
Appearing as a guest on The Escape Pod (via Screen Rant), Brad Winderbaum confirmed he’s seen an animatic of the first episode of Marvel Zombies’ second season.
I don’t think it’s a spoiler, but I saw the first animatic of the first episode of Marvel Zombies season 2 this morning. It was crazy, I can’t say anything about it, but it delivers not just on like zombies, but also on like an MCU thing that has never really happened before that we’re very excited to do.
