The date of the next Royal wedding has been confirmed, with King Charles and Queen Camilla among those informed of the forthcoming summer celebration.
A Cotswolds ceremony is in the pipeline as the Princess Royal’s son Peter Phillips prepares to wed his fiancée Harriet Sperling.
Peter — the eldest grandson of the late Queen Elizabeth II — will exchange vows with NHS nurse Harriet in an intimate private ceremony.

The nuptials will take place at All Saints Church, in the picturesque village of Kemble, Cirencester, in Gloucestershire.
Charles and Camilla, alongside William, Prince of Wales, and Catherine, Princess of Wales, have all been made aware of the arrangements, reports Birmingham Live.
The understated occasion is expected to draw members of the Royal Family to the village for the celebrations on Saturday, 6th June.
A spokesman confirmed that both families have received formal invitations bearing the wedding date.
Peter, 48, is Zara Tindall’s brother and Charles’ nephew, making him a cousin to both Prince William and Prince Harry. He is the son of Princess Anne and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips.
All Saints Church, distinguished by its striking tall spire, sits at the heart of Kemble, with its congregation noted as being ‘very much involved in village life.’
Peter resides close by on his mother’s Gatcombe Park estate in Minchinhampton.
He parted ways with his first wife Autumn in 2020 following 12 years of marriage, and shares custody of their two daughters, Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14. The couple tied the knot in a lavish royal ceremony at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, in 2008.
Peter’s engagement to Harriet was made public in August last year following the start of their relationship in 2024.
The pair attended Royal Ascot as guests of Charles and Camilla in June 2026.
They also participated in the ceremonial carriage procession which sees the Royal Family arrive at the renowned Berkshire racecourse to mark the beginning of proceedings.
