A royal wedding is quickly approaching between Peter Phillips and his fiancée, Harriet Sperling. Learn everything about their blended family before the pair gets married.
Who Is Peter Phillips?
Peter is the firstborn child and only son of Princess Anne and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips, who also share daughter Zara Tindall. He is the eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth IIand Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Royal watchers began claiming Peter was Elizabeth’s “favorite grandson” after years of witnessing their close bond due to his down-to-earth nature.
Peter holds no royal title and reportedly receives no salary, stipend, or allowance from the monarchy. He works in sports management and marketing, per multiple outlets. His parents ultimately decided not to give their children HRH titles at birth, and his father also turned down the offer of an earldom when he married into British royalty.

Harriet takes her role as a mother very seriously and wrote a touching essay about raising Georgina on her own.
“In the earlier years of my journey as a single mother to my daughter, resources were scarce, and the future was uncertain. Yet, in the absence of material security, I discovered the strength and life that comes from true selfless love. A love that is able to be solely devoted to your child,’ Harriet wrote for Woman Alive magazine in 2024, Tatler reported.

She continued, “My daughter and I journeyed 10 years with only each other. It’s a bond characterised by love and survival against the odds.”
