Dozens of Tomorrowland cast members, Walt Disney World Ambassadors Serena and Shannon, and Magic Kingdom VP Sarah Riles gathered in front of the ride to celebrate its reopening.

With a giant pair of scissors, cast members cut a purple ribbon in front of the ride’s new sign.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin has brand-new ride vehicles (replacing the original 1970s If You Had Wings cars), handheld blasters, interactive targets and a revamped scoring system, a new opening training scene with Buddy the robot, an updated finale including Buzz, a new on-ride photo, and Toy Story 5 Easter eggs.
