All four of the Artemis II astronauts have been successfully extracted from the Orion spacecraft following splashdown and are now on the USS John P. Murtha. Next up, they will be escorted to the medical bay where they will undergo post-mission medical evaluations.

    I wonder if it’s a strange sensation for them going from space to descent to landing to watercraft to aircraft. Get these people on some solid ground, damn!

    Shit, what a cool thing… even the heli crew is stoked getting to be apart of it! But, ehh, too bad we will end by blowing ourselves up in a nuclear war… inevitably….

    The mission is only half over, now they sit with their debriefing teams to go over everything. I bet they still miss home.
