It’s not every day that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan make a public appearance together. But Friday night, the royal couple stepped out for the BEEF Season 2 Tastemaker event—and brought spring’s biggest color along with them.
For the rare outing, the duchess took a cue from the Prada, Valentino, and Balenciaga runways and went with the bold and vibrant chartreuse, a counter to the season’s typical pastel palette.

Her own dress, a satin number from Heidi Merrick, embraced the playful hue with a wavy tiered skirt—while elevating it with a refined, fitted bodice.
For shoes, Meghan slipped into tan square-toe Jimmy Choo sandals with crisscrossing straps and a rounded kitten heel. She let her long hair down and finished things off with oval-cut diamond studs.
Next to her, Harry wore a classic navy-blue suit, and left the jacket unbuttoned to reveal a white button-down shirt undone at the collar.
Hosted by Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos and his wife, Nicole Avant, at their private home in Montecito, California, the star-studded party welcomed Harry and Meghan alongside the cast of BEEF and several familiar faces.

For BEEF star and newly-appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) Carey Mulligan, the night also called for a chartreuse look. Matching the duchess, she showed up in a Christopher John Rogers two-piece set, composed of a cowl-back top and long, bias-cut maxi skirt.
Katy Perry and former Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton, and Orlando Bloom were also in attendance.
