The Pitt’s Fiona Dourif has landed a new role in the “terrifying” psychological horror A Head Full of Ghosts. The actor will appear opposite previously announced star David Harbour, as the concerned parents of a disturbed 14-year-old girl.
The upcoming movie is based on Paul Tremblay’s 2015 novel of the same name, and follows a suburban family, rocked by the erratic behaviour of teenager Marjorie.
Believing she is possessed, the Barretts agree to let their daughter become the subject of a reality show.

“Fifteen years later, her sister Merry faces her family’s haunting past with a journalist, uncovering the very nature of the evil that destroyed them,” reads the synopsis.
According to Variety, Dourif and Harbour will be joined by Hollie Hill-Pearson and Esmé Creed-Miles, who will respectively play the child and adult versions of Merry.
Meanwhile, Bodhi Rae Breathnach will star as Marjorie, with Rebecca Hall also part of the ensemble cast.
Robert Downey Jr and his wife Susan Downey are serving as producers under the Team Downey banner, alongside The Allegiance Theater and Fifth Season. Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala will write and direct the project, with Lionsgate handling the distribution.
