The Kardashian-Jenner family was also out in force to support their longtime friend Justin, with his wife, Hailey Bieber, watching the show with Kylie Jenner, Kylie’s boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, Kendall Jenner — who was spotted alongside Euphoria star Jacob Elordi — and Kim Kardashian, who was joined by her rumored beau.

While neither star has publicly commented on their relationship, Lewis included Kim in a recent Instagram post, and was spotted by her side at Coachella. You see, on Sunday, a low-profile X account went incredibly viral after posting that Kim was seen at the festival with Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi.

The tweet in question came from the media company Distinct Post, which has been active since 2022 with more than 21,000 tweets — although it only has 178 followers. Reposting a video of Kim and Lewis Hamilton in Justin’s crowd, the account wrote: “Lewis Capaldi spotted with Kim Kardashian at Coachella during Justin Bieber’s set last night. 🌴”

One person shared a photoshopped image of Kim and Lewis in a car together and wrote: “fav couple 😍,” somebody else wrote: “kim’s a lucky girl then,” alongside a gif of the singer. Another referenced Lewis Hamilton’s success, writing: “7 wdc titles only to be called Lewis Capaldi 💀💀💀,” while one more quipped: “Not Lewis Capaldi entering the Kardashian cinematic universe…”

And, of course, it didn’t take long for the tweet to be on Lewis Capaldi’s radar, and he had the best possible response. Quote-tweeting it to his 1.4 million followers, the star joined in on the joke as he wrote: “wow guys not cool such an invasion of our privacy.”

Unfortunately, this didn’t quite land for some people, with Lewis being forced to reply to a few tweets after a whole load of users genuinely thought that he was being serious. One response with more than 3.4k likes reads: “tries a sneaky link with billionaire influencer in public event and then gets mad when people find out,” to which Lewis replied: “is this ur first day on this planet.”

“Imagine thinking you have privacy in the middle of one of the most video/photographed events of the year standing in a mass audience of people,” somebody else wrote, prompting Lewis to reply: “ur a silly billy my guy.”

Despite this kind of sentiment being a common theme in Lewis’s replies, most people thankfully appeared to get the joke, with some even building on it. One person quipped: “This is so wrong. I hope you and Kim are doing okay. The nerve of people, especially during your racing season.”

Meanwhile, somebody else tweeted: “lewis watching this from a distance knowing full well that ain’t him.”
