Katie Price’s whirlwind marriage to Lee Andrews has reportedly come under strain due to concerns from her family. It comes as she’s doubled down on her decision to stay in the UK and not join her hubby in Dubai.
The Pricey, 47, has consistently told people that she is madly in love with Lee, 41, and insisted he’s “no con man” following accusations about the businessman’s lifestyle. The pair, who tied the knot just two days after Lee proposed, have looked all loved up when it comes to the snaps on social media.
But now, it’s been suggested tensions are growing between the two and that they’re facing their “first proper test” as a couple. It’s claimed friction is also bubbling up over Lee’s suggested reluctance “or inability” to leave Dubai.

According to the Sun, Katie’s family have made it clear they are ‘not fans’ of the marriage, with Katie’s podcast with sister Sophie being temporarily paused due to her shock at the union. Now, a source has said that behind closed doors, the honeymoon period might be coming to an end for the pair.
“Katie felt like she was in a fairy tale when Lee swept her off her feet and showered her with love and a diamond engagement ring,” the insider claimed.
“The wedding and initial trips back and forth from Dubai only added to the romantic dream. But the growing concerns from friends, fans, and particularly family members, who Katie is very loyal to, began to take the shine off.” Daily Star has contacted Katie’s representatives for comment.

The insider said that the war in the Middle East has also put things into perspective. The ongoing conflict is said to have made Katie miss her kids and realise “how far away she was from home” during her recent trips to the region.
Despite speculation that she was moving out there with Lee, Katie has seemingly ruled out moving to the UAE. In a recent episode of her podcast, she slammed rumours that she was leaving the UK.
She said: “I’ve got five children, I’m not going to just get up and move to Dubai. I want to get to know Lee more before anything. There’s no rush. I don’t know why people are so invested. It’s nobodies business. I live in West Sussex and that is it.”

The source added: “Though she’s still committed to Lee and being loved-up on socials, she knows her primary concern is her kids and all the luxury promises and multimillion pound villas won’t change that. There’s a niggling feeling how all of this is going to work long-term.”
Lee has made several claims that he’s jetting to the UK, but is yet to leave Dubai. He has previously denied claims that he’s banned from leaving the UAE due to legal issues.
Lee has said that he and Katie are planning to have a second wedding in the UK in the winter. He’s also claimed that he’s planning to meet all of Katie’s kids in real life, starting with eldest son Harvey.
