Mustafa Ahmed made a strong impact with his performance in director Aditya Dhar’s latest blockbuster, Dhurandhar 2, aka Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The film, headlined by Ranveer Singh, premiered on March 19 and broke several box office records. Mustafa played the role of undercover spy Rizwan, who was the right-hand man of Ranveer’s character Hamza Ali Mazari in Lyari. But do you know that before his on-screen appearance, Mustafa had long been associated with the world of glitz and glam as a fitness coach? Besides Ranveer, he has trained prominent celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam.
Mustafa Ahmed, in a recent conversation with Hindustan Times, offered an unseen peek into the dietary habits of the Bollywood stars he has worked with. Surprisingly, despite following strict wellness routines, many of the celebrities are big-time foodies, while a few have remarkable digestion.
Ranveer, Hrithik, Vicky and Yami’s foodie habits
Speaking about Hrithik Roshan, Mustafa Ahmed revealed that he once saw the actor eating as many as 14 rotis, laden with ghee, and he only stopped eating because the next chapati took time to be brought to him. ‘He can eat… he is an absolute foodie,’ said Mustafa.
About Vicky Kaushal, Mustafa Ahmed shared that the Uri actor has a terrific metabolism, jokingly adding that even if Vicky ate a brick, he would probably digest it as well. He continued that it was the same reason why Vicky had difficulty putting on weight and muscle. For the unversed, Mustafa was supposed to train Vicky for the shelved movie Ashwatthama.
Mustafa Ahmed then spoke about Yami Gautam’s food habits, stating that the actress and wife of Aditya Dhar loves tea. She is also a fan of home-cooked delicacies. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh has a soft corner for chocolatey Nutella. ‘He can sniff it out,’ was Mustafa’s playful remark about his Dhurandhar co-star. According to him, Ranveer has a special talent to simply go out and find Nutella, wherever it may be.
More about Mustafa Ahmed
Long before his foray into the film industry, Mustafa Ahmed was already earning Rs 1 lakh a month as the youngest team leader at a call centre in 2001, as per a report by The Indian Express. He was 21 years old at that time. But an incident while working out at a gym made him quit his stable career and become a gym trainer at Janakpuri in New Delhi, earning just Rs 10,000. But in 3 months, Mustafa became the No 1 trainer for Fitness First in Asia, who was conducting up to 14 sessions a day, 6 days a week, clocking nearly 400 hours a month and earning over Rs 1.4 lakh. A chance encounter with Hrithik Roshan, however, changed his life’s trajectory for the better.
