During the trip, Meghan Markle quietly filmed a guest appearance on MasterChef Australia. She served as a guest judge, mentoring home cooks alongside regular judges like Poh Ling Yeow and Sofia Levin. The official MasterChef Instagram confirmed she would appear in the 18th season of the show.At a leadership summit in Melbourne, Prince Harry made the candid admission that he realised he didn’t “like” royal life when he was just 12 years old. He revealed that after his mother’s death, he felt the institution had “killed” her, and he spent years with his head “stuck in the sand” because he didn’t want the role.Speaking at an event for the charity Movember, Harry discussed his desire to be an “upgrade” as a parent compared to previous generations. Some residents also expressed being entirely unaware that the couple was even visiting.During a “Scar Tree Walk” in Melbourne, Harry had to step in when a local reporter, Paul Dowsley, attempted to take a selfie with the couple. While described as a breach of protocol, the interaction was reportedly good-humoured, with Harry even complimenting the reporter’s tie while ushering him out of Meghan’s way.
