Known for delivering large-scale commercial entertainers, the leading production house Mythri Movie Makers is now venturing into spine-chilling territory with its latest project, 418, presented by KGF fame Prashanth Neel. Surya Raj, Charan Lakkaraju, and Preethi Pagadal are the lead cast in the movie directed by Kirtan Nadagouda.
The film signals a bold shift toward intense horror storytelling. The title poster has already sparked intrigue. A blood-streaked door bearing the number 418 stands as the central visual, symbolizing mystery, isolation, and impending terror. The image generates a grounded, creepy atmosphere that suggests psychological horror over exaggerated theatrics.
Director Kirtan Nadagouda appears to be crafting a narrative that strips away humor and focuses purely on fear. The tagline reinforces this intent- “Enough of laughing in horror movies. Now it’s time to be scared.” It’s a direct challenge to the current trend of horror-comedy hybrids.
