Meghan Markle’s publicist has distanced the Duchess of Sussex from a photograph row that emerged on the AI-powered fashion website, OneOff.

During their tour of Australia, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Bondi Beach, where 15 people lost their lives in an antisemitic massacre in December 2025.

The outfit that Meghan wore was subsequently uploaded to the affiliate shopping site with an image of the duke and duchess walking alongside emergency workers who responded to last year’s terror attack against the Jewish community.

After receiving backlash, the original image was subsequently substituted with a photograph depicting Meghan waving as she departed from a luxury Range Rover earlier that same day, wearing the identical outfit but positioned away from the beach and without Harry appearing in frame.

A publicist for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, from their representative firm Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis, issued a statement to GB News.

She said: “OneOff does use AI technology and sometimes pulls from Getty and Meghan’s team works with them to make sure they’re using approved photography and correcting as needed.”

The People’s Channel has also contacted OneOff for comment.

The items originally promoted included a £345 striped Matteau shirt in blue and white, £110 white sailor-style jeans, and £220 Freda Salvador trainers.

Meghan is both an investor in the business and a participant in its revenue-sharing model.

At the time that their partnership was announced, OneOff stated: “She cares about fashion and was motivated to invest not only to expand her portfolio, but to help uplift the fashion designers she is a fan of.”

The duchess’s OneOff profile, which lists her as “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex,” features numerous images from her Australian tour with accompanying purchase links.

Meghan launched a ShopMy storefront in March 2025, which she described as a “handpicked and curated collection of the things I love”.

Promoting the shop on her Instagram, she addressed her followers directly: “Many of you have asked, so here you go! A little shopping to start the week. More to come. Link in bio.”

Meghan quietly closed her ShopMy storefront in early September 2025, just six months after its launch.

In April 2026, Meghan shifted from running direct affiliate storefronts to taking on a more strategic, investment-focused role with OneOff.
