A cryptic post from an official Marvel social media account has stirred speculation about the release of the first full trailer for Avengers: Doomsday to the public. The footage was unveiled last week to a packed audience at CinemaCon. Since it wasn’t shared with the public simultaneously or shortly after, fans have been eagerly awaiting its official release.

Marvel’s new post ignites Avengers: Doomsday trailer release speculation

A mysterious social media post has ignited speculation about the official online debut of the Avengers: Doomsday trailer.

Marvel’s official Latin American account tweeted, “Suena música de Avengers on X (formerly Twitter). When translated, it reads, “Avengers music plays.”

The post came without any image or additional context. However, it sparked a number of reactions online, with many fans expressing frustration and pushing for the trailer’s release. Meanwhile, some treated the post as a sign that the trailer’s release is imminent.

“Release the trailer, dude, Marvel,” one user wrote. “Please release the darn trailer already,” another commented.

One fan asked, “That means they’re releasing the trailer today, right?” Another noted, “Looks like these Marvel Latam folks know something, huh.”

Notable industry scooper Daniel Richtman also weighed in on the speculation. He posted that while the trailer is close to being released, the post does not signify anything. However, his comment only got fans more curious, with some asking him to specify how close it was to being dropped.

Marvel Studios has yet to officially confirm when the trailer will be released online. Reports suggest that it could drop online and also be attached to The Mandalorian and Grogu’s theatrical release next month.

The footage gave attendees a proper look at Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, from his iconic armor to his distinct accent, and highlighted Steve Rogers’ return to the MCU and reunion with Thor. It also featured some fun crossover battles, including Gambit vs. Shang-Chi and Mystique vs. Yelena Belova, with the former making things intriguing by shapeshifting into the latter.

Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to premiere on December 18, 2026. Anthony and Joe Russo directed the movie from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The Russos also co-produced the film with Marvel Studios via their production banner, AGBO.
