Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor “screamed” at a foreign official and called them a “cripple” because of their club foot before he stepped back from royal duties, a biographer has revealed.
Tom Bower, who has published books about King Charles, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, told the Daily Expresso podcast that the incident was “indicative of Andrew” as a person.
The former duke was visiting Warsaw as a trade representative when a deputy ambassador with a “very noticeable” club foot approached him telling him he was urgently wanted on the phone, according to Mr Bower.
“Andrew screamed across the room at him, ‘What the f*** are you cripple doing coming here to interrupt me?'” he said.
“I mean, that was unbelievable. And that is the way Andrew behaved. A really shocking, shocking, selfish, stupid man.”
