With last week’s cancellation of Gen V, Jaz Sinclair has shared her gratitude for the fans and her experience on the show.

The actress, who starred as Marie Moreau on the Prime Video spinoff of The Boys, prefaced that she will have more to say in the future about the streamer’s decision not to renew the show for Season 3 as she reacted to the news.

“There’s so much I wanna (and will) say, but for today I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart,” wrote Sinclair on her Instagram Story. “I’m so happy you’re here and I’m so grateful for this incredible experience.”

In Gen V, Sinclair’s Marie Moreau is revealed to be one of the most powerful Supes alive with her ability to control blood and manipulate living tissue, which she uses to uncover the truth behind Godolkin University. Season 2 ended with Marie joining the Starlighter resistance against Homelander (Antony Starr).

London Thor, who played gender-shifting Jordan (along with Derek Luh), wrote on Instagram, “This show changed my life. So long Jordan. Thank you for everything.”

Maddie Phillips, who played mind controller Cate Dunlap, wrote with a behind-the-scenes video, “Live laugh love, later !!! <3”

Coming six months after the Season 2 finale, the cancellation was expected, while Sinclair, Thor and other Gen V stars have recently appeared in the fifth and final season of the parent series.

“While we wish we could keep the party going another season at Godolkin, we’re committed to continuing the Gen V characters’ stories in The Boys Season 5 and other VCU projects on the horizon,” said Vought Cinematic Universe (VCU) executive producers Eric Kripke and Evan Goldberg. “You’ll see them again.”

In addition to Vought Rising, which premieres on Prime Video in 2027, The Boys: Mexico remains in active development.
