Lizzo’s Modern House

More than a year after listing her Beverly Hills, Calif., mansion, the singer Lizzo finally found a buyer, though the $11.15 million purchase price was far below what she paid four years ago.

Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, bought the home in 2022 for $15 million from Aaron Bay-Schuck, the chief executive of Warner Records. She put it back on the market not long after, in late 2024, for $15.99 million. Her most recent asking price was $12.5 million.

The 5,442-square-foot modern structure sits on nearly a third of an acre in a gated community, with sweeping canyon and hillside views. There are three bedrooms and five bathrooms, along with a private studio and theater room.

Amenities include a saltwater infinity pool, gym and an outdoor kitchen with a fire pit.

Jesse McCartney’s Contemporary

The pop singer and actor Jesse McCartney and his wife, the actress Katie Peterson, have listed their Los Angeles home for $2.795 million.

The three-level, contemporary house, in the Laurel Canyon neighborhood, has around 3,600 square feet, with high ceilings and skylights. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The primary suite includes two sizable walk-in closets, a fireplace and a sauna. And there is a pool and a hot tub on the landscaped grounds.

HGTV’s House Sellers

Ken Lowe, a founder of the HGTV channel, and his wife, Julia Baker Lowe, are selling their gated estate on Sea Island, Ga. The asking price: $42 million.

The grand home, which they’ve named “Lowe Tide,” was built in 2021 on three quarters of an acre directly facing the Atlantic Ocean. Measuring around 11,000 square feet, it has five bedrooms, nine and a half bathrooms and separate staff quarters. Throughout the space, which has a Parisian-inspired aesthetic, are high-end finishes like Italian marble, limestone and wood paneling.

The estate also comes with an outdoor pool shaped as a quatrefoil, a putting green, bocce court and a rooftop terrace. And there’s a four-car garage.

Jeff Green Scores a Sale

Jeff Green, a forward for the Houston Rockets basketball team, sold his mansion in Pinecrest, Fla., a Miami suburb, for $15.5 million, $1 million below the asking price.

Mr. Green had the two-story, 10,400-square-foot home built in 2022. It sits on just over an acre and features seven bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms, as well as two laundry rooms, a theater, gym, and game and play rooms.

Exterior features include a screened summer kitchen, pool, and, of course, a lighted basketball court.

There’s also a four-car garage, and for those South Florida tropical storms, a full-house generator.

Tori Schrager and Lauren Schrager of Brown Harris Stevens have the listing.

Ken Griffin’s Newest Purchase

The hedge fund manager Ken Griffin has reportedly added yet another property to his ever-growing real estate portfolio: a duplex on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

The co-op apartment, which sold for $38 million in an apparent off-market deal, is at 740 Park Avenue, the venerable prewar building whose high-profile residents have included John D. Rockefeller, Vera Wang and David Koch.

The duplex encompasses around 7,500 square feet on two full floors, and has five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, plus three wood-burning fireplaces.

Mr. Griffin, who reportedly owns an adjacent duplex in the building, has a property portfolio estimated at $1.5 billion. This includes a Central Park penthouse apartment that he bought in 2019 for a record-breaking $238 million.

The Wall Street Journal was the first to report on the sale.

Chris Christie Crosses the Hudson

Chris Christie, the former New Jersey governor, and his wife, Mary Pat Christie, paid $1.5 million for a Manhattan co-op.

They bought the loft-like unit, in the Gramercy Park neighborhood, fully renovated. The home features two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and soaring ceilings.

Mr. Christie, who now runs a consulting firm, and Ms. Christie, an investment banker, have their primary residence in Mendham, N.J., and also own a beach house on the Jersey Shore.

The listing broker, Christine Miller Martin of Compass, declined to comment on the sale.
