King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived in the United States on April 27, 2026, and part of their brief visit will be spent with two high-profile stars: Anna Wintour and Martha Stewart.

The royal couple will meet with the former Vogue editor-in-chief and businesswoman in New York City at a reception celebrating the work of his charity, The King’s Trust. Some might also expect Charles and Camilla to reunite with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but sources told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice that they’ve been completely shut out.

Sources claim that Harry and Meghan “quietly tried to arrange a private New York meeting,” which the palace initially considered but ultimately declined because of the couple’s recent royal tour of Australia.

“That trip killed it,” one insider claimed. “The palace saw the optics and pulled back fast.”

Still, Harry is reportedly “pushing hard” for a meeting between him and his father. This comes after he told BBC in May 2025 that he would “love reconciliation” with his family.

“There’s no point continuing to fight anymore. As I’ve said, life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has,” he said. “It would be nice to reconcile.”

But palace aides are skeptical because, according to them, Harry’s “concern isn’t family. It’s branding.”

“Harry standing beside the King instantly looks official,” a source explained to Naughty But Nice. “One photo, one handshake, and suddenly he’s back looking tied to the Crown.”

The source continued, “The fear is simple: Harry doesn’t just get a private moment with his father—he gets fresh royal legitimacy.”

This comes after People had previously reported in late March 2026 that Charles’ state visit seemed like a perfect opportunity for him and Harry to reconnect, but he wouldn’t have any time to see his son or grandchildren due to his packed schedule.

“When you’re talking about a state visit, every minute is accounted for — especially when it’s the king traveling as the invited guest of a head of state,” a source told the outlet.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams echoed this sentiment to Fox News Digital, saying, “There is simply no place for Prince Harry in this plan. It is essential that they focus on the host and visitors only, not on a situation where attention could be diverted by a media frenzy. This has to be avoided.”
