Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, are celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary.
William, the heir to Britain’s throne, and Kate wed at Westminster Abbey in London on April 29, 2011, in a ceremony watched by millions of people around the world.
The couple are now the parents of three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 8.

Last year, William and Kate spent their anniversary in Scotland, where they first met as students at the University of St Andrews.
They both studied art history and geography and shared a farmhouse with several friends before starting a relationship that has now lasted more than 20 years.
William proposed to Kate with his late mother Princess Diana’s engagement ring while he and his now-wife were vacationing in Kenya in October 2010, royal officials said at the time.
Less than one year later, in front of 1,900 guests at Westminster Abbey, William and Kate each vowed to “love, comfort, honor and keep” each other “in sickness and in health.”
