Season five chronicles Wrexham’s current quest to reach the top tier of English football under manager Phil Parkinson and a new-look squad constructed in the summer of 2025.

Reynolds and Mac bought Wrexham for £2m in 2021, and under their leadership the club has gone from the National League, the fifth tier of English football, to the Championship, one level below the Premier League.

With one game to go in the regular season they occupy the final play-off spot, level on points with Hull City and one point ahead of Derby County.

Wrexham play Middlesbrough at home on Saturday, with victory likely granting them a play-off place, putting them two games from a final at Wembley and three from a place in the Premier League.
