Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner turn heads with a bold entrance at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, joining Hollywood’s brightest for the celebration.

Kylie Jenner is facing more legal trouble after another former employee filed a lawsuit against her alleging workplace misconduct.

Juana Delgado Soto, who worked for six years as a housekeeper for the reality-TV star and beauty mogul, made her complaint in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday, April 29, according to court documents obtained by USA TODAY.

The ex-staffer is accusing Jenner, 28, of various abuses during her employment, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to pay wages and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Jenner’s company, Kylie Jenner Inc., is also listed as a defendant in the case, along with other companies and associates affiliated with “The Kardashians” star.

“Our client alleges she was subjected to treatment that stripped her of dignity,” Soto’s attorney, Della Shaker, said in a statement to USA TODAY Thursday. “This lawsuit seeks to address the lasting emotional and physical harm she suffered as a result of her employment with Kylie Jenner and her affiliated team.”

USA TODAY has reached out to Jenner’s representatives for comment.

Soto’s lawsuit comes after another former housekeeper of Jenner’s, Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, filed a lawsuit on similar allegations of mistreatment. In the April 17 complaint, Vasquez said she was subjected to a “hostile work environment,” in which she experienced “discrimination, harassment and retaliation … based on her race, national origin, religion and disability.”

The bulk of Vasquez’s claims targeted her supervisors, who she said “snapped their fingers” at her, “mocked [her] for her accent and treated [her] as inferior because of her Salvadoran background.”

Former Kylie Jenner housekeeper details ‘demanding workload’

Soto, who began working for Jenner around May 2019, detailed the frequent alleged physical exhaustion of working at the celebrity home, according to court documents.

After transitioning into a full-time role, the woman said she often worked alone during the afternoon and evening hours after other staffers had finished for the day. As a result, Soto alleged she was “solely responsible for cleaning and maintaining the residence,” which made for a “physically demanding workload requiring continuous labor without relief.”

Additionally, the former employee said she was unable to take meal and rest breaks during work hours. Although Soto allegedly reported the scheduling issue to Jenner’s house manager, the woman said no action was taken.

Soto also claimed in the lawsuit that she was not paid sufficiently for her work, describing an alleged July 2023 incident in which she did not receive holiday pay for working on the Fourth of July. Aside from holiday benefits, the woman said she was similarly denied compensation for sick pay.

Jenner and her associates “failed to provide adequate staffing, assistance or reasonable working conditions despite increasing and unreasonable demands,” the lawsuit reads.

Kylie Jenner manager racially harassed housekeeper, ex-employee says

Soto is accusing Itzel Sibrian, a manager at Kylie Jenner Inc., of racial harassment during her employment, per the woman’s lawsuit.

The former housekeeper, whose race is described in the lawsuit as “Hispanic,” said Sibrian allegedly became her “direct supervisor” in late 2023. Soto alleged Sibrian frequently criticized her ethnicity, including “mocking her English, laughing at her, calling her stupid and asking why she can’t speak proper English.”

Soto’s harassment claims echo those of Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, who in her lawsuit said she was subjected to “repeated demeaning comments referencing [her] Salvadoran origin and immigration status.”

Soto said she reported Sibrian’s alleged conduct to human resources, and the supervisor was “temporarily removed.” However, the woman said Sibrian was reinstated around late May 2024.

A few days later, Soto said Sibrian began retaliating against her for her previous complaint. Sibrian’s “harsher treatment” allegedly included “reducing [Soto’s] pay from $41.66 an hour to $35 an hour without explanation, changing her schedule so she no longer works overtime and assigning unreasonable workloads.”

On her birthday, Soto said Sibrian forced her to stay past her shift for an event Jenner was having, allegedly telling the housekeeper, “No one cares about your birthday. Kylie is having a dinner.” Additionally, Soto alleged she was “threatened with termination if she left” and denied “proper overtime compensation.”

Former housekeeper allegedly sent letter to Kylie Jenner describing abuse

Soto said in her lawsuit that she attempted to inform Jenner directly of the alleged mistreatment she’d been experiencing.

Last April, following “repeated failures by management to address her concerns,” the housekeeper allegedly wrote a “long letter” to the Kylie Cosmetics founder, which detailed the “harassment, discrimination and retaliation” Soto was dealing with. The woman said she placed the letter on Jenner’s massage bed right before her massage.

“I need to express just how terribly I am mentally abused,” Soto allegedly wrote in the letter, per the lawsuit. “And I really apologize for letting you know about all these situations. I know you wouldn’t allow this to happen if you were aware of it.”

However, Soto said she was “threatened with termination” the following day and told to never contact Jenner again. After the alleged incident, Soto said her employers “intensified their retaliatory conduct and made her life unbearable every single day,” including making Soto hide away when Jenner was present in the house.

The former employee said her mental and physical health began to deteriorate significantly amid the alleged abuses, noting that she would experience “severe chest pains and anxiety.” Around August 2025, Soto said she sent a message to staff that she was resigning from her position.

Soto “had no choice but to focus on her health and constructively discharge,” the lawsuit reads. She “has suffered and continues to suffer severe emotional distress, anxiety and mental anguish.”

According to the complaint, Soto is requesting a series of damages to compensate her for the alleged abuses she suffered while working for Jenner, including the recovery of “unpaid wages and commissions and improperly calculated wages.”

The former housekeeper is also demanding a trial by jury.
