Kensington Palace has released footage of Princess Charlotte to mark her 11th birthday
The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a new photo of their daughter Charlotte walking in a field of daisies as they mark her 11th birthday.
The image, shot by photographer Matt Porteous during the family’s Easter break in Cornwall, shows Charlotte wearing a black and red striped jumper and blue denim jeans.
It was posted on the Kensington Palace social media accounts with the message: “Wishing Charlotte a very happy 11th birthday!”
A video of Charlotte playing on the beach in Cornwall and stroking her two dogs was later released by Kate and William on Instagram as they thanked everyone for her birthday wishes.
Charlotte was born at 8.34am on May 2 2015 at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, weighing 8lb 3oz.
The princess is sister to George, 12, and Louis, eight, and fourth in line to the throne.
The children all attend Lambrook School, in Berkshire, close to the family’s home in Windsor, where they will stay until they turn 13.
George is in his last year of the school, and will turn 13 in July.
Kate and William recently celebrated 15 years of marriage on April 29, sharing a family photo online to mark the occasion.
The image, also shot by Porteous, showed the prince and princess with their three children relaxing in the grass during the Easter break.
On Friday, the family also celebrated their second dog Otto’s first birthday by posting a picture of the brown spaniel on social media.
