Olivia Rodrigo Jokingly Compares Career Paths w/ Former Costar Jake Paul During ‘SNL’ Hosting Debut

Live from New York, it’s Olivia Rodrigo! On May 2, the pop star made her “Saturday Night Live” hosting debut and pulled double duty as she also served as musical guest. During her monologue, the 23-year-old recalled being costars with Jake Paul in the Disney Channel series “Bizaardvark,” which ran from 2016-2019, before jokingly comparing their career paths. “When I was 13, I was on a Disney show called “Bizaardvark,” and we had an incredible cast, which included acting legend Jake Paul. And we’d always talk about our futures, me and Jake. I’d say, ‘I really wanna create music that explores the complexities of girls my age,’ and he’d say, ‘Well, one day I really wanna beat up old guys on Netflix,’” she shared, adding, “And we both did it, hooray!” Plus, the singer finished her monologue by performing a parody of her 2021 hit breakout single “Drivers License” – singing instead about the process of getting a real ID.
