The 2026 Met Gala is here, and while the full guest list is still tightly under wraps, there are already plenty of clues about who will be walking the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art tonight.
Leading the way are the evening’s co-hosts: Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour. The occasion marks Beyoncé’s long-awaited return to the Met Gala, having last attended in 2016. Both Kidman and Williams were guests at the 2025 Met Gala, which celebrated “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

Alongside the co-hosts is the gala’s star-studded host committee who are all confirmed to attend due to their roles at the event. This year’s host committee is comprised of: Aimee Mullins, A’ja Wilson, Alex Consani, Amy Sherald, Angela Bassett, Anna Weyant, Anthony Vaccarello, Chase Sui Wonders, Chloe Malle, Doja Cat, Elizabeth Debicki, Gwendoline Christie, Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sánchez, Lauren Wasser, Lena Dunham, Lisa, Misty Copeland, Paloma Elsesser, Rebecca Hall, Sabrina Carpenter, Sam Smith, Sinéad Burke, Teyana Taylor, Tschabalala Self, Yseult, and Zoë Kravitz.

A handful of celebrities have already spoken about their Met Gala plans, and several were spotted arriving in New York City ahead of the “first Monday in May,” all but confirming their attendance on fashion’s biggest night. Many turned up at Anna Wintour’s annual pre-Met gathering in the West Village on Sunday evening, while others have been making the rounds at parties and events in the lead-up to tonight. Several have already arrived at The Carlyle and The Mark, two scene-y hotels that are popular for stars preparing for the Met.
That group includes Rihanna, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, AnneHathaway, Sabrina Carpenter, Jisoo, Connor Storrie, Hudson Williams, Vittoria Cerretti, Naomi Osaka, Donatella Versace, Karlie Kloss, Law Roach, Irina Shayk, Serena Williams, Baz Luhrmann, Odessa A’zion, Lila Moss, Colman Domingo, Jon Batiste, Suleika Jaouad, Ashley Graham, Lindsey Vonn, Hunter Schafer, Jennie, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, Janelle Monáe, Simone Ashley, Nina Dobrev, Chase Infiniti, Gigi Hadid, Georgina Rodríguez, Sombr, and Isha Ambani.

Those in the “likely” (or even “rumored”) to attend camp—a group that includes Met Gala regulars, A-list celebrities, and those with obligations in New York City—is just as starry. Olivia Rodrigo (who just performed on Saturday Night Live!), Bad Bunny, Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Elle Fanning, and Sarah Jessica Parker all fall into that category.
Some have already confirmed that they’re skipping the 2026 Met Gala, including Zendaya and Meryl Streep, the latter of whom issued a statement through a representative saying the event “has never quite been her scene.”
With a guest list that swells to nearly 500, expect plenty of last-minute arrivals as the evening unfolds—and a few curveballs no one saw coming.
