This evening, Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams marked his very first time attending the 2026 Met Gala. (No pressure!) And the internet’s boyfriend was sure not to disappoint on the high-stakes red carpet: The actor leaned into full-on heartthrob dressing, wearing a custom Balenciaga look designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli. (He was, after all, announced as a friend of the house earlier this year.)

His powder blue two-piece suit—complete with folded-over trousers—was inspired by a 1947 bolero jacket from house founder Cristóbal Balenciaga. Taking its cues from the traditional Spanish matador suit, they kept the spirit of the original garment alive with allover geometric black crystal embroidery and tassels. For a more current hunk-approved slant, however, Williams chose to wear it sans chemise (totally shirtless), his chiseled abs gracing the Met steps to the delight of onlookers. It wasn’t just a, well, naked display of exhibitionism, either: It aligns with the exhibition inside, “Costume Art,” which is centered on the body.

The contemporary tailoring also came with other dramatic accents, such as a wide-pointed white collar and a sweeping black side train—that detail, too, nodding to the muletas used by matadors. (Bullfighting originated in Spain, where Balenciaga was born.)

Though the Canadian star is relatively new to the A-list Hollywood spotlight, Williams has proven that he is not afraid to show skin on the red carpet (tonight included): At the Oscar after-party earlier this year, he set social media ablaze when he donned a sheer sleeveless Balenciaga blouse.

And Williams was not the only Heated Rivalry star to make his Met Gala debut tonight: His costar Connor Storrie also walked the Met steps. Talk about a full-on hunk summit.
