The group put up ads in New York City bus shelters, like this one that reads, “The Bezos Met Gala invites you to party like it’s 1939. Democracy is so last season. Dress code: willful ignorance.”

They also installed a “VIP toilet” featuring empty water bottles, a comment on reports that Amazon drivers pee in bottles to keep up with the company’s delivery expectations.But the group’s most powerful statement was a video of a 72-year-old Amazon warehouse worker named Mary Hill.
