Hugh Jackman came to Blake Lively’s rescue at the Met Gala 2026.

The “X-Men” actor said on Wednesday’s episode of “Today with Jenna and Sheinelle” that he helped the “Gossip Girl” alum deal with a wardrobe malfunction at the star-studded event two days earlier.

“My good friend Blake Lively, goes, ‘Dude, I need some help with the dress. I think there’s a hook in there,’” he recalled.

Jackman, 57, said before he lent Lively, 38, a hand, he sent a text message to her husband and his close pal, Ryan Reynolds, who didn’t attend the gala.

“I’m like, ‘Ryan, is this cool? Checking. Are we good?’” Jackman said, adding that his “Deadpool and Wolverine” co-star replied, “Go for it, brother.”

As Jackman and the hosts laughed about the “cool moment,” they all agreed that Lively’s dress —  an archival Atelier Versace gown with a 13-foot train — was “stunning.”

He wore a classic black tuxedo with a silver brooch pin, while Foster rocked a gold metallic one-shoulder gown.

Lively, meanwhile, attended the event without Reynolds, with whom she shares four children.

The “Age of Adeline” actress went viral for appearing to boss around her red-carpet entourage, who were holding her dress as she walked the iconic steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Some social media users said Lively had “mean girl energy,” while others defended her, saying she was acting like a “boss.”

Lively went to the Met Gala hours after she settled her lawsuit against her “It Ends With Us” co-star Justin Baldoni.

Before the settlement was reached, a judge tossed out 10 out of 13 of Lively’s allegations from her 2023 lawsuit, including conspiracy, sexual harassment and defamation.

Baldoni’s lawyer told “Extra TV” that he was “ecstatic” with the results of the settlement, while Lively’s legal team told Page Six they considered the outcome “a resounding victory” for their client.

Neither actor earned any money in the settlement, while their legal teams allegedly made $60 million combined.
