Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have once again faced criticism over their actions in Australia, with TalkTV presenter Ash Gould claiming the couple are now past the point of no return. The Sussexes recently embarked on an unofficial tour of Australia, which has repeatedly been compared to King Charles’ state visit to the US.
The King’s trip was widely regarded as a success, while Meghan faced repeated criticism over her behaviour, including accusations that she used sick children to “salvage her brand” and that she spoke to survivors of the Bondi terror attack while wearing outfits that were later made available to purchase online. TalkTV’s Samara Gill said: “Their sources are saying to People Magazine that they’re going to do way more of these because Australia was such a success.
“Well, it wasn’t a success in the slightest and it actually shows how cataclysmic this one foot in, one foot out royal thing they want to do could really be because you’ve got Meghan showing up at former sights of terror trying to shift her outfits.”
Kevin O’Sullivan agreed that it was “horrible” as Ash remarked: “You think they’re at rock bottom and then they manage to go even deeper down and they can’t get back now.”
Kevin added: “There’s a lack of class about what they’re doing. There’s a lack of class about the way she behaves and I think Harry is aware of that.”
He continued: “Meanwhile, he’s obsessing with healing the rift with the Royal Family. He’s absolutely fixated on getting his dad to attend the Invictus Games which, after Australia, he will not be doing.
“The Royal Family and Britain looked at what was going on there and they said, ‘No, no, no.’ This is exactly what the late, great Queen Elizabeth did not want and Charles will not be going to the Invictus Games.”
Ash agreed, observing: “Harry will realise, probably, he is a bit stupid, but he probably will realise they’ve hit rock bottom and there’s no way back, but there is a way back for him on his own in the future.”
He added that the possibility of Harry reuniting with his family can only happen without Meghan. However, Kevin admitted he was not so convinced, responding: “William’s not having him back! Down in Australia, he looked so miserable. He was scowling the whole time.
“I think he was embarrassed by the financial antics and also mortified by the fact that that tour made the split between the Sussexes and the British royals even wider. The King will not go to the Invictus Games and that will kill Harry.”
