Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling announced their engagement in August 2025.

Congratulations are in order for the royal family! Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling have announced that they will walk down the aisle in a private ceremony in Kemble, England, on June 6, 2026. The two made their initial romantic debut in 2024 at the Badminton Horse Trials in Gloucestershire, U.K., and after two years of dating, the couple shared their engagement news with an exclusive photo via Hello!in August 2025. Both have been married once before, and Peter is now beginning a new chapter with a stylish pediatric nurse, who has appeared alongside him at major family events ever since.

In January 2026, the couple attended the New Year’s Day races in Cheltenham—the day the world got a closer look at Harriet’s engagement ring. And now with the big day on the horizon, all eyes are on the sparkling centerpiece in her hand, which has quickly become the talk of the town. The most touching detail? It’s tied to Queen Elizabeth.

According to multiple reports, Peter selected Harriet’s engagement ring from Pragnell, the Mayfair jeweler known for its history of royal commissions. The house acquired Philip Antrobus, the jeweler behind Queen Elizabeth’s iconic three-carat, round brilliant engagement ring, which Prince Philip commissioned in 1946 using diamonds from a tiara belonging to his mother, Princess Alice.

As for the future daughter-in-law of Princess Anne, her ring appears to share the same lineage, rather than featuring the royal heirloom diamonds themselves. Harriet has been seen wearing a trilogy-style ring, with a larger center stone flanked by two smaller side diamonds. It is believed to be worth upwards of $10,000.

Harriet is already known for her polished style—drawing comparisons to both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle—so it’s safe to say she fits right in with the royal set. Although she’s no stranger to white from her previous marriage, one question on everyone’s mind: What will she wear to marry the late Queen Elizabeth’s alleged “favorite grandchild”?
