    How the result was decided

The Semi-Final result was determined through a mixture of a jury vote and a public vote, from audiences all across the world, with a 50% weighting given to each.

The public vote took place during the live broadcast of the show. The 15 participating countries, as well as Italy and Germany, were voting in this Semi Final.

The 10 qualifiers will join the qualifiers from the Second Semi-Final (on Thursday 14 May), as well as the Big 4 (France, Germany, Italy and United Kingdom) plus reigning Contest champions Austria, in the Grand Final on Saturday 16 May.

If you want to vote in the Second Semi-Final or the Grand Final, you can find all the details right here.
