Dan Osborne has shared a post saying he doesn’t want to “go back to reality”. The former reality star, who found fame on ITVBe’s The Only Way Is Essex, has been spending time abroad after his marriage to EastEnders star Jacqueline ended.
But as Dan prepares to head back to the – colder – British shores, he said he doesn’t want to face his reality. Just two months ago, it emerged that the once golden couple had finally decided to call it a day, nine years after they tied the knot.
Over the years, their marriage had been plagued by splits, with Jacqueline and Dan splitting just last year before rekindling their romance. But as Dan made the most of his final days abroad, he took to his Instagram page to share a video of himself, playing football with a pal, wearing just a pair of shorts.

Captioning his post, he penned: “I can’t tell you how much I don’t want to go back to reality.” Another image saw Dan taking time out on the beach, watching the stunning golden sunset.
And while he’s known for his TV work, the football fan joked that he was eyeing up a stint at Inter Miami, sharing a snap of himself doing keepy-ups, alongside the caption: “Any open trials going on at Inter Miami?” alongside a laughing emoji.
While Jacqueline and Dan had always worked things out, sources claim that Jacqueline, 33, knew the marriage was over after the pair had lived separate lives.
“Everyone knows they’ve had their troubles, but after spending some time apart this year, they’ve decided to make the split permanent,” a source said. The source previously added to The Sun: “Their two daughters are their main priority.”
Dan is believed to have been living in the house he bought while separated from Jacqueline last year. The source told the publication that the couple had been living their lives separately over the last few months. “There’s only so many times she can put herself through living in limbo and taking him back,” they added.
Despite their split, Jacqueline shared a snap that included a picture of herself and Dan kissing on social media last month, weeks after the breakdown of her marriage came to light.
The montage of images of her family life featured several snaps of their kids, Ella, 11, and seven-year-old Mia. Dan also featured in several photos, including one of him kissing his estranged wife on the cheek.
She shared the upload alongside a caption reading: “Happy to be back at work after half term,” with a love heart emoji. She played Ed Sheeran’s song “Photograph” over her post.
