    David Beckham has become something of a fixture at the Chelsea Flower Show. The retired English footballer joined the King and Queen last year in support of King Charles’s charity, The King’s Trust, for an event around getting more young people interested in horticulture. Here Rosheuvel and Ruth Gemmell, who plays family matriarch Violet Bridgerton on the Netflix series, are seen with landscape designer Catherine MacDonald. Her third year at the Chelsea Flower Show, MacDonald was the mind behind the Boodles Garden, the site of Monday’s reception.

    The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, appeared at the Boodles Garden on Monday. The installation draws inspiration from four historical sites in and around London: the layout of the Tower of London, the architectural elements of Hampton Court Palace, the decorative ceiling of the Picnic Room in Queen Charlotte’s Cottage at Kew Palace, and deep red tones from the wallpaper at Kensington Palace.
