The cast of the thriller Her Private Hell attended the Cannes Film Festival premiere of their upcoming film, which was aptly held at midnight.

Crimson Rose
Havana Rose Liu wore a blood-red Balenciaga gown that might be my favourite custom look from Pierpaolo Piccioli so far. The drapery, the saturated colour, and the way the off-the-shoulder neckline cascaded down the back had me completely hooked.

Paired with those glossy retro waves, this felt like a proper old-Hollywood throwback moment while still retaining that modern Balenciaga feel. This is absolutely my favourite side of Pierpaolo’s design aesthetic.

Goth Girl Cannes
There was never going to be a white column gown moment for Sophie Thatcher. Instead, she wore a custom Louis Vuitton gothic-inspired two-piece featuring a black leather embroidered bustier and a long sheer silk skirt. Honestly, this could not have been more perfect for her. The look tapped directly into her dark, offbeat personal style while also matching the eerie mood of Her Private Hell and the midnight premiere setting. Even the beauty styling leaned into that slightly haunted glamour she carries so well. Pure V Louis Vuitton High Jewelry completed her look.

Less Sweet, More Sleek
Kristine Froseth has a naturally bubbly style that many would probably associate more with labels like Miu Miu, so I appreciated that she resisted the predictable blush-princess route in favour of this sleek Armani Privé Spring 2026 gown. The pink-and-black contrast gave the look a sharper finish, while the subtle sparkle running through the skirt danced beautifully under the midnight sky.

Classic Leading-Man Energy
Charles Melton wore a custom Louis Vuitton black shawl-collar single-breasted tuxedo, reminding us that sometimes simplicity really is the strongest move on a red carpet. The fit was immaculate, the proportions were clean, and the understated styling allowed his natural screen presence to do the heavy lifting.

Brooch Over Basics
Diego Calva also kept things classic in black tailoring courtesy of Prada, but the addition of the Marli brooch gave the look a refined point of interest.
