Meghan Marke has marked her eighth wedding anniversary to Prince Harry by launching a £48 candle through her lifestyle brand As Ever, whilst simultaneously sharing two dozen previously unseen photographs from their 2018 nuptials.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, uploaded the intimate wedding images to her personal Instagram account overnight, before her brand’s social media page followed with promotional content on Tuesday afternoon.

The ‘As Ever’ post featured the anniversary candle displayed alongside an image of the couple departing St. George’s Chapel, Windsor, in a carriage following their ceremony.

The accompanying caption celebrated “8 years of our founder and Prince Harry’s love story.”

The candle, bearing the name “Love at first light,” carries the number 519 as a nod to the couple’s wedding date of May 19th.

According to the As Ever website, the product represents the brand’s signature scent, described as being inspired by “the ease and joy of a day that holds Meghan’s most cherished memories.”

The fragrance combines Moroccan mint with white tea leaves and a base note of woodsy cardamom, intended to create what the company calls a “soothing, welcoming” atmosphere.

Each candle is hand-poured in California and presented in a ceramic vessel.

When the couple stepped back from royal duties in 2020, the Megxit agreement stipulated that they would refrain from using their HRH titles and that any commercial ventures would need to align with the Royal Family’s values.

The Duchess of Sussex has previously faced criticism for her involvement with the shopping platform One-Off, through which she sold clothing items worn during the couple’s Australian tour.

Among the items offered was a striped shirt she had worn whilst meeting survivors of the Bondi Beach massacre.

Meghan receives a portion of sales made through the aggregation site, which also features personalities such as model Suki Waterhouse and influencer Emma Chamberlain.
