If there is one person we expected to deliver an all-black moment during this spring festival, it is Milena Smit. The actress wore a Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann look featuring a graphic bodysuit with a sleek high-waisted skirt, serving up the kind of dark sensuality we love to see from the Spanish actress. The sharp cut-outs and sculpted lines gave the gown a futuristic edge, while the glossy finish amplified the drama.

Victoria Luengo brought a completely different energy to her co-star in this pale blush Fendi gown. The softly draped slip silhouette, delicate straps gave the look an almost lingerie-inspired simplicity that stood apart from all the dark hues on this red carpet.

Nieves Álvarez is usually drawn to grand, theatrical gowns, so seeing her take a sleeker route in this shimmering black Armani Privé halter gown made for a refreshing switch-up. The liquid-like finish hugged every curve beautifully, while Bvlgari jewels elevated the elegance further.

Retro Fantasy
Dita Von Teese never misses an opportunity to lean into vintage glamour, and this pale-pink Tamara Ralph Spring 2026 Couture gown felt entirely aligned with her aesthetic. Between the sculpted black velvet accents, opera gloves, sparkling choker, and softly draped skirt, the look carried echoes of old Hollywood costume drama in the best possible way. Dita knows exactly how to sell this level of theatrical elegance without it feeling forced. And yes, the opera gloves were necessary. She is the only person who has carte blanche with this accessory.

Pocket Problem?
Prada have been on a great run during this festival, but that came to a screeching halt with Chloé Zhao. The navy Prada gown just didn’t hold up, and we are seeing a lot of the issues we often call Prada out on – creasing, pulling, and a general lack of fluidity through the fabric. Some might be more bothered by those oversized side pockets, but I actually like them because they bring something to an otherwise fairly flat silhouette.

Cut-Out Simplicity
Grace Elizabeth kept things minimal in a black Michael Kors Collection gown featuring sharp side cut-outs and a fluid column silhouette. I know what you’re thinking: not another black gown.

Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl delivered one of the strongest couple style moments of the night. Olivia wore an embellished white Zuhair Murad Spring 2026 Couture gown, while Johannes kept things timeless in a perfectly tailored double-breasted tuxedo. Together, they looked every bit the Cannes power couple.

Anja Rubik, of course, wore Saint Laurent, opting for Anthony Vaccarello’s tailoring over her usual LBD. And of course she looked impossibly chic. The minimalist silhouette relied entirely on attitude, sharp styling, and her signature cool factor, which remains unmatched.
