Queen Camilla brightened her wardrobe in a springtime Fiona Clare blue dress for a garden party at Hillsborough Castle on Wednesday in Hillsborough, Northern Ireland.

For the special occasion, the U.K.’s queen consort turned to a tried and true blue design from go-to British couturier Fiona Clare Aldridge. A royal rewear, Queen Camilla’s blue dress featured her signature silhouette, with a midi hemline, long sleeves and slightly defined waist.
Ornate, scalloped embroidery featured down the front placket of the frock and at the ends of the long sleeves and neckline. Queen Camilla coordinated her dress with a Philip Treacy statement hat and added a pair of darker toned heels to complete her attire.

As for accessories, Queen Camilla wore her staple Van Cleef & Arpels bracelets and adorned her dress with a diamond and sapphire moth brooch she’s worn in the past. The brooch hails from Queen Camilla’s own private collection and features four small sapphires set against diamonds in the shape of a small moth.
The brooch has adorned the U.K.’s queen consort’s wardrobe since at least 2006. But, like her blue Fiona Clare Aldridge-designed dress, she’s reworn the piece in the recent past. The June 2024 ceremonial farewell for Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan was among one of the last times the brooch was seen.

Wednesday’s garden party at Hillsborough Castle marked the latest engagement for King Charles III and Queen Camilla during the British royal couple’s trip to Northern Ireland, which kicked off on Tuesday.
For their previous outings, Queen Camilla merged her two favorite British designers into one look, wearing a cream Fiona Clare dress with pink and blue florals throughout and a blue Anna Valentine wrap coat to stay warm amid Belfast’s brisk temperatures.

Wednesday’s look, by contrast, offered a bold use of color that Queen Camilla’s sapphire and diamond moth brooch only served to augment and emphasize.
