Prince Harry couldn’t have been happier on his wedding day.
After Meghan Markle took to Instagram to share never-before-seen photos from their nuptials in May 2018, body language expert Darren Stanton claimed the Duke of Sussex looked completely content.
“Harry was totally elated on the day. The close-up of him hugging someone shows just pure joy,” the specialist said while speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino.
“His cheek bones are raised and his eyes are so engaged in the smile that is almost squinting — there are crows feet and laugh lines,” Stanton pointed out.
While the couple faced backlash in their eight years of marriage, Harry and Meghan’s union appears strong from the start.
“They were clearly besotted with each other and operating in their own little bubble. Meghan, in particular, consistently in these shots seems overwhelmed with love and joy,” the commentator remarked.
“The first thing that strikes me with Meghan is the way she is looking at Harry whilst he is making his speech,” Stanton said.
“It is almost a look of astonishment and disbelief. Her eyes are wide and she has a broad smile,” he added.
“She is overwhelmed with pride and just in a state of utter disbelief and happiness. They are in their own little bubble and she is mesmerized by him,” Stanton noted.
The couple still seem deeply in love with each other. While in Australia, Meghan appeared on the Get Down With Sean and Marley YouTube channel, where she joked that she and Harry could tie the knot once again.
“That’s going to be for my husband. I just have a feeling,” the Suits star said as she was handed a Speedo.

“For the love of my life,” Meghan jokingly said while holding up the item. “We might renew our vows with him wearing these.”
