Oscar-nominated actor John Malkovich is the central figure in a new promotional campaign by the Croatian National Tourist Board aimed at further strengthening Croatia’s global tourism profile.
The internationally acclaimed actor, known for films such as Dangerous Liaisons, In the Line of Fire and Being John Malkovich, appears in the latest tourism video filmed at locations across Croatia.
Malkovich, who has Croatian roots, was joined on the project by award-winning television and sports producer Pete Radovich, who served as creative director for the campaign. Radovich, also of Croatian heritage, is the winner of 45 Emmy Awards across 18 categories.
The campaign marks the fourth collaboration between Malkovich and Radovich. Their previous projects together have received major international recognition, including five Emmy Awards, five Cannes Lions awards and eight Clio Awards.
Production services for the campaign were handled by Bunker d.o.o., while the creative agency Brandmama d.o.o. contributed to the development of the script.

According to the Croatian National Tourist Board, the new promotional film represents another step in positioning Croatia as an authentic and globally recognised tourist destination. Filming took place at several locations throughout the country.
A teaser for the campaign has already been released, while the full promotional film is scheduled to premiere across international markets shortly before the start of the FIFA World Cup. Particular emphasis will be placed on the United States market, one of the host countries of the tournament.
